Presenters
Dr.Kent M. Keith, Chief Executive Officer,
Dr. Kent M. Keith has been an attorney, a state government official, a
high tech park developer, a university president, a YMCA executive,
author, and Rhodes Scholar. Dr. Keith is known internationally as the
author of the Paradoxical Commandments, first published in 1968 as a
booklet for student leaders. He has published three books about the commandments, including Anyway: The Paradoxical Commandments,
a national bestseller that was translated into 16 languages. His most
recent book is The Case for Servant Leadership, published by the
Greenleaf Center. Dr. Keith has been featured in The New York Times, People magazine, The Washington Post,
The San Francisco Chronicle, and Family Circle. He has appeared on
dozens of TV shows and more than 90 radio programs in the United
States, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
JackLowe, Board Chair TDIndustires
JackLowe served as the CEO and Board Chair of TDIndustries,
a national mechanical and plumbing construction and facility service
company headquartered in Dallas. For nine consecutive years the company
has appeared in the Fortune magazine
list of the 100 best companies to work. Jack attributes the trust that
underpins their success to the employee-owned company's servant leader
philosophy, in which all 1300 employees are partners. Jack serves on
numerous corporate and non-profit boards, including Zale Corporation,
Drew Industries, Texas Business and Education Coalition, and the Center
for Reform of School Systems. He is the President of the Greenleaf
Center Board of Trustees and President of the Board of the
DallasIndependentSchool District. Jack is the recipient of many awards,
including the national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Principle-Centered Leadership.
Juana Bordas, President - Mestiza Leadership International
Mestiza
Leadership International focuses on leadership, diversity, and
organizational change. Juana is a former faculty member for the Center
for Creative Leadership (CCL), and taught in the Leadership Development Program, the most highly utilized executive program in the world. As founding President/CEO of the National Hispana Leadership Institute
she forged partnerships with Harvard's JFK School of Government and CCL
to provide training for Hispanic women. Juana is a founder of Mi Casa
Women's Center and served as executive director until 1986. She was
inducted into the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame and received the 2008
MartinLutherKing Jr.Award for Social Responsibility. Juana served as an
advisor to the Harvard Journal on Hispanic Policy and the Kellogg
National Leadership Program. She is vice-chair of the GreenleafCenter
for Servant Leadership and author of Salsa, Soul, and Spirit:
Leadership for a Multicultural Age.

Overview: Jack Lowe, chairman of TDIndustires, Dr. Kent Keith,
President of the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership, and Juana
Bordas, President of Mestiza Leadership International will share their
journeys in Servant Leadership and discuss strategies for practicing
and implementing servant leadership in organizations and communities.
Networking Event: The Board of Directors of the Greenleaf Center will meet 150 Denver
leaders from business, government, nonprofits, and leadership
organizations. The intent is to strengthen the Servant Leader network
in the metro Denver area and to increase diversity and partnerships
with communities of color.
